The Art Institute of Austin, a branch of The Art Institute of Houston, is located at 101 W. Louis Henna Blvd. Suite 100, Austin, Texas. This building is located north of the city at the intersection of two major highways, making access very easy from anywhere in the region. The building is a modern four-story facility of which The Art Institute occupies the first floor. The lease provides approximately 36,500 square feet of space.
The building includes classrooms, labs, studios, resource rooms, and office space for an educational institution. In addition, The Art Institute of Austin has a student lounge, a library, and an exhibition gallery, and The Art Institute of Austin will maintain a supply store for the convenience of students.
All educational programs and student services are offered from this location. The year-round average class size for The Art Institute of Austin is 22 or fewer students. Class size, however, will not exceed 35 students in lab sessions and 40 students in lecture sessions. Equipment provided at The Art Institute of Austin is specific to the program of study. This includes, but is not limited to art and drafting equipment, projectors, editing decks, PC and Macintosh computers, and printers.
