Mission Statement
The Art Institute of California – Hollywood Library is a circulating collection of specialized resources suited to building the groundwork for a successful career. The collection consists of design and core foundation books and periodicals as well as industry related forecasting books and many online subscription databases.
The mission of the Library of the Art Institute of California – Hollywood is to support the intellectual and creative development of students and faculty with industry relevant information and resources regarding design program curricula and related interests that will both inform and inspire their work.
The role of the Library is to foster the intellectual life of the college and to collaborate with faculty to improve critical thinking and library use. We provide reference and instructional assistance and provide students and faculty with the resources available to meet their information needs.
The Library’s goal is to enable students to independently investigate, evaluate and critically use print and electronic resources.

Monday – Thursday 7:30 -10pm
Friday 7:30-6pm
Saturday 9-5pm
