Lisa Lane Heidger, 2006 Computer Aided Drafting
Lisa works as a Graphic Designer for C&C California in Los Angeles. She creates all of the graphics and prints for clothing, design look books for buyers, merchandising line sheets, PR press book and website materials, and company branding materials (hang tags, business cards, clothing labels, etc.).
About her time at California Design College, Lisa says, “Get involved with things outside of school. Whether it be an internship, part-time job, or volunteering at fashion events, being able to apply what you learn in class is valuable, and it will also help build your resume for after graduation.”
Lisa has nothing but praise for the Career Services department at California Design College, saying, “I wouldn’t have the job I have now in graphic design if it weren’t for attending California Design College. Not only did I learn the necessary computer skills, but they were very involved with helping me find a job both on a part-time basis while attending classes and then keeping me informed of openings that matched my interests after graduation.”
