Community Involvement

At The Art Institutes, learning isn't limited by the boundaries of the classroom. Our students are engaged in the communities in which they live and attend school. They volunteer their artistic and culinary talents to organizations large and small to help make their corner of the world a better place.

This year at The Art Institutes more than 5,000 students donate a quarter million hours to hundreds of charitable and not-for-profit organizations throughout North America.

This is the common that runs through our schools: a commitment to service from the students and assurance by faculty and staff to graduate students who are lifelong learners and important contributors to their communities.

Within these pages are just a sampling of the work that takes place every day at The Art Institutes and in the communities where our schools are located. Learn more by reading The Common Thread.
