SUNNYVALE, Calif - The Art Institute of California-Sunnyvale will expose students in the Digital Filmmaking & Video Production program to advanced sound systems as they use lessons learned in the classroom to serve the community by entertaining high school campuses during lunch hour with the "Music of the Lawn" initiative.
The Art Institute is seeking out partnerships with local schools open to allowing the "Music on the Lawn" event to take place, free of charge, in an effort to gain name recognition with the high school demographic while developing a fun atmosphere for the students to enjoy inbetween classes.
"The goal is to reach our target audience by allowing our students to demonstrate what they've learned here at The Art Institute of California-Sunnyvale to the local high school kids" says campus president, Daniel Cardenas. "We're looking to liven up the lunch hour and to let these students know that an higher education institution dedicated to the creative arts is locally accessible to them."
The "Music on the Lawn" program is set to launch in late October and will run through the end of the school year. For more information or to set-up a partnership, please contact 408-962-6415.
