Fall 2007 Art Show
If you missed the opening night of our 3rd annual alumni art show on November 27th, then you missed out on a true celebration of the multi-cultural, multi-disciplinary, and multi-faceted elements of art. Thank you to all those who participated; the show was a display of your passion and dedication to your chosen art form and a reflection of the type of art which speaks to our diverse world.

Celebrating Diversity in Art Featured live musical performances, a sugaring display, live models and the work of many extremely talented artists. The show was diverse indeed!

Winter 2008 Amazing Race
On March 27th, 2008 a group of diversely determined alumni gathered at The Art Institute of Vancouver's restaurant Culinaria for this quarter's Alumni Event. The Amazing Race was an idea taken from the ever popular TV show that features couples racing around the globe for a prize of 1 million dollars. In our version of the race, alumni were paired together and given clues that led them all over downtown Vancouver. The winning couple (Shaina Webb & Tome Jozic) were each given an mp3 player.

The race involved many fun and unique activities, from taste tests to toilet paper garments and a final stint involving a pogo stick and a hoola hoop! Fun was had by all!
