Angelika Niemczyk believes that to create tomorrow, she will influence the world with her ideas, beliefs and work. Her position as a graphic designer at Graphik Concepts gives her the exciting opportunity to create visual graphic solutions for vehicle wraps, signs, banners, and displays. “What I enjoy most about my career is the fact that I am able to create new things. I am the type of person who can get bored easily so this career path challenges me to problem solve, producing new and creative solutions each and every day.”
Angelika is inspired by M.C. Escher, describing his work as challenging the brain and its need for understanding. “(He is) the artist who is known for his realistic illusions (that) expresses impossible tasks with order and structure by applying science and mathematics,” she states.
Looking back upon earning her Associate in Applied Science in Graphic Design degree from The Art Institute of Michigan, Angelika states that the school helped her to build the knowledge she needs in her career. “Aside from learning the programs required, learning about fonts, design elements, and even the printing process all came together—(it gave) me an easy transition from school to a position in graphic design.”
