Employer: j Graphics
Job Title: Owner/Designer
"What each of us does effects everyone. You must have the spirit of giving to the team, because as the team grows, your opportunities also grow."
—Jonelle Milton

What's Jonelle doing today?
Jonelle is working for her own company, j Graphics. She specializes in logos, event planning, and print collateral. Passionate about the South Florida community, Jonelle finds great satisfaction in volunteering her expertise for many local charities including: W.I.D.S, H.A.N.D.Y, March of Dimes, and the Humane Society of Broward County — where she currently serves on the Executive founding board of PAWS.

Creative inspiration
As a member of the first graduating Fashion Illustrating class from The Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale, Jonelle lives her dream of traveling and working in a creative career. While in Europe, Jonelle honed her artistic skills, then back in the states, she worked as an illustrator for Bill Blass and Anne Klein. She also served on numerous boards including the Contemporaries for the Museum of Art and on the founding board of SPARK for the Museum of Discovery.

Getting out there
Jonelle states, “I attribute many of the artistic opportunities I’ve personally had to the invaluable experiences I gained while a student of this school. The Youth of the 1960s and 70s spearheaded a cultural revolution that would change American society forever, and spread that influence around the world.” Jonelle believes that today’s students are on the edge of great change due to wondrous advances in technology. She adds, “your generation has been charged with exacting more sociological change in the U.S. than any generation since the 1970s. Now it¹s your time to merge the technical skills you have learned with your creative energy, develop a personal vision, and continue this school¹s tradition of excellence.”
