The Art Institute of Atlanta
Employer: The Hungry Peach LLC
Job Title: Executive Chef/Owner

2005 Graduate, Associate of Arts in Culinary Arts, The Art Institute of Atlanta

Owning her own restaurant makes for long, challenging days. And Suzanne Vizethann would have it no other way. As the executive chef and owner at The Hungry Peach, Suzanne oversees menu planning and back of the house activities. She does all of the baking for the restaurant, as well as creates specials.

Suzanne, who in 2005 earned an Associate of Arts degree in Culinary Arts from The Art Institute of Atlanta, enjoys being creative and inventing new dishes. “I have a strong passion for food and love being immersed in the industry.” She adds that her education "provided me with a strong understanding of food and flavors. It also taught me the management side of the business, which proved to be a better fit for me.”

Suzanne believes that a big trend in culinary will be more casual dining. “Fine dining is out. Farm to table and more casual dining experience are becoming more popular.”
