The Art Institute of Washington was founded in July 2000 as a branch of The Art Institute of Atlanta, GA. As a private college of creative professional studies, our mission is to prepare students for careers in design, media arts and culinary arts by providing:

• provide a curriculum that integrates conceptual and analytical skills
• offer education by qualified professionals
• and prepare students for career entry, placement, and growth in their respective fields.

Everything we do must be achieved in accordance with our philosophy of providing quality service. Our goal is that our programs, facilities, faculty and staff reflect the highest standards of service. Students are the ones who ultimately benefit from this commitment.

Our faculty and staff believe in the worth and potential of each student. We strive to provide quality programs and services that foster development and cultivate artistic growth. As a result, a student graduating from The Art Institute of Washington is prepared for entry-level positions in his or her chosen field.
