Contemporary DC Photographers Explore the Beauty of Food” to coincide with FotoWeek DC, November 7 – 14. See how professional and student photographers capture the work of DC’s finest chefs. Open to the public at no charge.
Opening reception: Thursday, November 12, 6:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m.

Food Photography Workshop at The Art Institute of Washington
Learn the art of food photography in a workshop on November 10 from 6:30 – 9:00 pm at The Art Institute of Washington. This hands-on session will cover lighting, camera position, exposure, and some tricks of the trade in making food appear appetizing. The workshop will be taught by Dan Currier who is a faculty member in the Photographic Imaging Program. Dan has spent more than 30 years as a commercial photographer and photojournalist, capturing subjects both still and in motion. This complimentary workshop is being conducted in association with FotoWeek DC.
