Supporting each of our programs with the necessary facilities and technology is a priority at The Art Institute of Washington. Our 12
th floor boasts three teaching kitchens and a dining lab for our aspiring culinarians. Our Interior Design program is supported by a new space on the 6
th floor that features a lighting lab and greatly expanded resource library. And, we recently unveiled a 1200-square-foot, industry-standard audio studio to support our growing Audio Production program.
Library
Our campus library is located on the 8th floor. Here, students find a quiet, comfortable spot to sit with their laptops and take advantage of the wifi. The library staff supports the curricula of The Art Institute of Washington with an ever-growing collection of books, magazines, periodicals and digital media. All library materials are catalogued in Athena - the library's online public access catalog. Online subscription databases can be easily accessed from any Art Institute computer. Databases can be accessed off-site with usernames and passwords obtained at the library circulation desk. Check out what the library has to offer at http://lh311.aisites.com.
Supply Store
Need an extra thumb drive? How about a sketch pad? You can find what you need at our campus supply store on the 9th floor. Busy students enjoy the convenience of picking up supplies between classes. The store also stocks plenty of clothing with The Art Institute of Washington logo so the student body can show pride in their school.
Gallery
On the ground floor of our urban campus, the art gallery showcases student and faculty work as well as other exhibits to benefit our creative community. It is the space a visitor sees first and serves as a fitting introduction to The Art Institute of Washington.
