YUM 2 Food Photography

“YUM 2 (Even Yummier)” reprises last year’s popular show staged at The Art Institute of Washington. Once again the exhibit will showcase professional DC photographers and their food photography for local restaurants and publications as well as juried student work. Cake artist Alison Friedman will be wielding fondant, ganache and gum paste to create an outrageous cake to mark the opening of “YUM 2”. Friedman – who competed earlier this year on TLC’s Ultimate Cake Off – is a chef instructor at The Art Institute’s International Culinary School. She is also the owner of Sweet Revolution, a high-end cake studio.
