The Department of Student Affairs coordinates and oversees services and programs designed to enhance your experience both in and out of the classroom. The Department of Student Affairs is responsible for housing and residence life, counseling, services for student with disabilities, and student development activities. If you need assistance with any of these areas, or would just like to find out more information, I invite you to stop by our suite in room 1107 or email any of the individuals listed below.

The staff of the Department of Student Affairs is committed to helping students achieve their educational and personal goals through purposeful programming and professional service. We have several ways that students can become involved in activities and events that are designed to develop their leadership skills, learn more about their chosen profession, share a hobby or common interest, and meet classmates. You will find that the more you put into your experience here at The Art Institute of Washington, the more you will take away from it so we encourage you to get involved, volunteer, be your own advocate and make the most out of your college experience.
