Library

The Art Institute of Washington Library is located on the 10th floor at 1820 N. Fort Myer Drive in Arlington, Virginia. The mission of The Art Institute of Washington Library is to support the instructional program of The Art Institute of Washington through the provision of library resources and services.

All library materials are catalogued in Athena (the library’s online public access catalog) and shelved using Library of Congress classification numbers. Online subscription databases can be easily accessed from any Art Institute computer. Databases can also be accessed off-site with usernames and passwords obtained at the library circulation desk.
