Assistant Director of Admissions
Reports To: Director of Admissions
Position Summary: An individual in this position is responsible for recruiting and selection of qualified applicants for admissions to the Art Institutes. The Assistant Director of Admissions (ADA) must manage his/her time and inquiry resources to achieve as many productive candidate contacts as possible. The ADA is also responsible for completing appropriate follow-up to assure successful matriculation. The ADA is responsible for conducting such activities in accordance with state, and federal accreditation and institute policies and regulations, consistent with the highest ethical standards.

-Manage inquiries, utilize corporate resources and personal experience, make prompt and effective contacts with inquiries and screen unqualified candidates.
-Schedule and conduct interviews. Pursue most qualified candidates for enrollment.
-Accurately and completely portrays institute educational programs, expected outcomes, student services, and financial considerations to students, parents and educators.
-Consistently conducts follow-up with all enrollments to assure successful matriculation. Assists other departments with data collection.
-Participates in appropriate recruitment and enrollment activities including: open houses, regional presentations, training sessions, orientation programs, career days, etc.
-Accurately forecasts projected new students on a periodic basis for the Director of Admissions.
-Conducts all activities in accordance with the highest ethical standards. Adheres to all state, and federal accreditation and institute rules and regulations regarding student recruitment.
Position Specifications:
- Bachelor degree
-At least 2-3 years of non-durable goods sales and/or customer service experience.
-Excellent communications and interpersonal skills.
-Able to work with people from a variety of socio-economic and cultural backgrounds.
-Ability to work independently and make decisions based on general guidelines.
-Possess a sincere interest in helping others achieve life goals.
-Is goal oriented and highly ethical.
