C-Cap (Careers Through Culinary Education Program)
C-Cap students may compete for one full-tuition, two-year scholarship to be applied at The Art Institutes location of their choice. Only students enrolled in a
C-Cap program are eligible for this scholarship. For more information, visit www.starchefs.com/features/

Congressional Art Competition Scholarships
The Art Institute of Atlanta offers $10,000 scholarships to the first place winners of Atlanta-area annual Congressional Art Competitions. Scholarships in lesser amounts are offered to the second- and third-place winners. The winning work of art by a high school student in each participating congressional district is displayed in Washington, D.C., for a full year. Contact the local office of your congressional representative to see if he/she participates in the Congressional Art Competition, and for details on how to enter. Deadlines vary, but are generally in early spring.

Evelyn Keedy Memorial Scholarship
High school seniors who show dedication to their education and a desire for a creative career may apply for the Evelyn Keedy Memorial Scholarship through The Art Institutes. A full-tuition, two-year scholarship is awarded each year. Deadline to apply is in the beginning of May. Details and applications may be obtained by contacting the admissions office.

Georgia Tuition Equalization Grant (GTEG)
All full-time students who are residents of the state of Georgia (have established residency in Georgia for one year or more for independent students, one year or more for dependent students and parents of dependent students, prior to attending college) are eligible for the Georgia Tuition Equalization Grant. Administered by The Georgia Student Finance Authority, this state aid program was developed for students attending eligible private colleges in Georgia. Eligibility is not based on income or need.

IACP Foundation (International Association of Culinary Professionals Foundation)
The Art Institutes supports the International Association of Culinary Professionals Foundation by offering a $2,000 tuition scholarship from each Art Institutes location that offers a culinary arts program, including The Art Institute of Atlanta. For information, call IACP at 1.502.587.7953.

National Art Honor Society Scholarship
High school seniors who also belong to the National Art Honor Society may apply for an Art Institutes National Art Honor Society Scholarship. One full-tuition, two-year scholarship and two half-tuition, two-year scholarships are awarded. Details may be obtained by calling the admissions office.

Passion for Fashion
The Art Institutes Fashion and Retail Management Scholarship Competition.
Graduating high school students who are interested in entering the Fashion and Retail Management program are eligible to compete for a tuition scholarship. Each local Fashion Design competition and local Fashion Marketing and Merchandising competition winner will receive a $3000 tuition scholarship. Their entries will move on to the national finals in New York City. The national grand prize winners of the competition are awarded a full tuition scholarship. Second place receives a half-tuition scholarship, and the third place winners are awarded a one-third tuition scholarship. President's Award for Perfect Attendance
This $100 scholarship is awarded on a quarterly basis to students who achieve perfect attendance based on the current attendance policy published in the Student Handbook. Students must be registered for at least twelve credit hours.

President's Scholarship
This $500 scholarship is awarded upon entry to the college to new degree-seeking students with a 3.0 or higher CGPA from all institutions attended prior to The Art Institute. To be eligible for this award, students must be registered for at least 12 credit hours.

ProStart
ProStart students may apply for a $2,000 scholarship to be applied toward the completion of an Art Institutes culinary arts program. One scholarship is awarded at each Art Institute location that offers a culinary arts program. Only ProStart students are eligible for this scholarship. In addition, students nationwide who successfully complete their high school ProStart program and earn their national ProStart Certificate are eligible to receive proficiency credit at The Art Institute of Atlanta based on their work in this high school program. Scholastics Arts Competition
One full-tuition, two-year scholarship and two half-tuition, two-year scholarships will be awarded by The Art Institutes for selected winners of the Scholastics Arts Competition. Art Institutes awards will be given on a first-come, first-served basis to Scholastics winners. Scholastic Arts Competition winners wishing to use their scholarships at The Art Institute of Atlanta should contact their assistant director of admissions. Application information may be obtained from Scholastics, INC at 212.343.6100.

Technology Student Association Competition
Members of the Technology Student Association who win first place at the national championships in the high school category of Cyberspace Pursuit and Imaging Technology may be eligible for an Art Institutes scholarship. Winners are permitted to choose their Art Institutes location on a first-come, first-served basis. Students who have questions regarding the organization or competition should contact the Technology Student Association at 703.860.9000.

The Art Institute of Atlanta 50th Anniversary Scholarship
Initiated in 1999 as part of its fiftieth anniversary celebration, this $2,500 scholarship is awarded to between one and four students each year. The students must be in at least their fourth quarter, have achieved a 3.5 CGPA or better in all coursework, and must submit a letter of recommendation from their department chair. The selection committee, made up of faculty and staff, makes its decision based on the applicant’s dedication to his or her field of study, to academic excellence, and to the college.

The Art Institute of Atlanta Family Scholarship
The $500 quarterly Art Institute of Atlanta Family Scholarship is awarded to students from the same nuclear family (i.e., siblings, parents) who are enrolled in the college concurrently. Students must be registered for at least 12 credit hours.

The Art Institute of Atlanta High School Scholarship Competition
Graduating high school students are eligible to compete for scholarships ranging from $5,000 to approximately $23,000. Each year the college awards more than $250,000 in scholarships through this program. Students can compete for scholarships in the following categories: advertising, audio production, culinary arts, digital media production, fashion and retail management, game art & design, graphic design, illustration & design, interactive media design, interior design, media arts & animation, photographic imaging, video production, and visual & game programming. The college selects winners based on a review of the applicants’ portfolio work, projects, high school achievement, and letters of recommendation. The deadline for entering is in February. The Art Institute of Atlanta Merit Award
New degree-seeking students who enter the college with a 2.5 or higher GPA are eligible for this $200 quarterly award. The award is effective for one year (four quarters) as long as the student maintains a minimum 2.5 GPA and is continuously enrolled. Students must be registered for at least 12 credit hours.

The Art Institutes and Americans for the Arts Poster Design Contest
Graduating high school seniors who are interested in entering a design or media arts program may compete in The Art Institutes and Americans for the Arts Poster Design Contest. Scholarships of $2,000 and $3,000 are awarded at the local level, and up to $25,000 at the national level. The deadline for entering is in February. The Art Institutes Best Teen Chef Culinary Scholarship Competition
Graduating high school students who are interested in entering the culinary arts program are eligible to compete for scholarships ranging from $2,000 to approximately $30,000. Winners are selected based on a preliminary competition notebook, a local semifinals cook-off, and a national finals cook-off. The deadline for entering is in February. United Parcel Service (UPS) Earn and Learn
The UPS Earn and Learn program offers students who attend The Art Institute and work part-time for UPS up to a $3,000 scholarship per year for a maximum of five years. UPS also offers a ConSern® Education Loan Program. Students may borrow up to $2,000 per year for up to four years. The principal on these loans may be forgiven up to the entire amount depending on how long the student works for UPS.

VICA (Vocational Industrial Clubs of America)
Students who belong to VICA may compete in local, state, and national championships. Winners at the national level are awarded a variety of scholarships. Full-tuition, two-year scholarships are awarded to first-place winners in the culinary, advertising design, and photography fields. Half-tuition, two-year scholarships are awarded to first-place winners in the 3-D imaging/animation and the video production fields. Each Art Institutes location has a limited number of scholarships. Winners are permitted to choose their Art Institutes location on a first-come, first-served basis. Information about the VICA Skills USA Championships may be obtained from your local VICA chapter.
