Applying for Financial Aid

1. Complete the admissions process.

2. Upon receipt of your application for admission, The Art Institute of Atlanta will send you an enrollment packet that contains the appropriate financial aid applications, the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid), additional forms, instructions on how to complete these forms, and other information. You may also apply online.

3. Complete the financial aid application forms. If you are completing the paper FAFSA, return it to The Art Institute of Atlanta. If you complete the FAFSA on the Web, The Art Institute of Atlanta will receive an electronic document with your information about one week after you complete the form. If you have questions about the forms, contact a financial aid officer in the student financial services department.

Upon receiving your forms, The Art Institute of Atlanta reviews them using the standard Federal system process to determine your eligibility for financial aid. A student financial aid officer will work with you and your family to devise a student financial plan to help you cover your educational expenses, based on your financial aid eligibility and your family circumstances.

NOTE: You must reapply for your financial aid eligibility each year. Application deadlines are announced each year during the winter quarter.
