The Art Institute of Austin is a branch of The Art Institute of Houston and part of The Art Institutes system of schools.

We are located in Austin, Texas, the state capital and fourth largest city in the state. Our students are able to do imaginative thinking and studying in a city known for its creativity and originality. Austin is a vibrant spot that celebrates being cosmopolitan and unpretentious; high-tech and low-key; big city and college town. Austin was selected as the #2 Best Big City in "Best Places to Live" by Money magazine in 2006, and the #1 College Town by the Travel Channel. This is an independent, unassuming spot proven by the unofficial slogan locals use "Keep Austin Weird," referring to the spirit of the city and the vibrant network of locally-owned businesses.
