So you're certain you want a creative education. But how will it transform into the career you've been working for? At The New England Institute of Art, we'll guide you from the classroom to the real world with challenging coursework, internship opportunities, and career services assistance.

We emphasize hands-on learning — so you'll know what to expect before you even hit the job market. And you'll learn in a creative community of people who understand that it takes imagination, innovation, and an open mind to succeed as a creative professional.

The College has a staff of Career Advisors ready to serve employers and students, matching up the best and most talented candidates with just the right internship, part time or full-time entry-level employment opportunity.

Our Student Employment Advisor, is available Monday through Friday to assist employers with finding students to fill their work-study and part-time jobs. Contact Karen Huyghue at 617-582-4433 or khuyghue@aii.edu.

Internships:
Internships are an integral component of a student's education. Internships enhance your education while building a resume of industry experience. In an intern ship, you'll practice the skills learned in the classroom, establish contacts in the field, develop advanced skills and gain exposure to the industries and possible career paths.

For all programs, except for Audio & Media Technology, students must complete 120 Internship hours in order to graduate. Audio Production Associate in Science students must complete 80 Internship hours and Bachelor of Science students must complete a total of 200 Internship hours in order to graduate.

We are always seeking the best Internship experiences for you and suggest you speak with your career advisor to explore the possibilities.
