Nora's House: Dining and Meal Option

The New England Institute of Art has a relationship with Shaws supermarket to provide a weekly grocery plan to residents of Nora's House Apartments.

Residents of Nora's House Apartments can choose to participate in a $60.00 per week grocery plan. Each Monday, a student who is registered and has paid for the grocery plan, may pick up their weekly Shaws Cards (value of $60.00). Students may be able to finance the grocery plan, through financial aid. Please see your financial aid advisor for planning purposes. Shaws Cards are distributed in the Student Affairs Department, located on campus at 10 Brookline Place West.

These Shaws cards can be used at any Shaws supermarket location - but most students use them for shopping at the 24 Hour Shaws supermarket located directly across from the Nora's House apartment Building.

Shaws cards that are lost or stolen, cannot be replaced. Students who withdraw from housing, cannot continue to participate in the Shaws grocery plan nor can they continue to pick up weekly cards. Students cannot receive advances on their Shaws cards.

The cost for the Shaws grocery plan is $1,000 per semester. Residents of Nora's House are not required to purchase a grocery plan.
