  • Cooking appliances other than a microwave (including but not limited to: hot pot, coffee pot, toaster, toaster oven, crock pot, rice cooker, indoor grills)
 
When does Orientation start?
Orientation begins on Wednesday, September 9, 2009.New students move-in date is Tuesday, September 8, 2009. Returning students move-in on Wednesday, September 9th.
 
When do classes start?
Classes begin on Thursday, September 10, 2009.
 
Where do I get my mail?
Each student has a mailbox located on the first floor of the Rosemary Ashby Campus Center.
 
What is my new mailing address?
Student Name
West Village (Building 1, 2, or 4 – dependent upon housing assignment)

What about telephone calls?
Each residence hall room is equipped with one phone jack. To activate phone service, students may call the local provider, Verizon, to arrange for services at their own expense. Students living in double rooms may share a phone.
 
Does the College provide network services and e-mail?
All residence halls are wired for high-speed network connectivity. Through the network you may access the Internet and email. You will need a 10/100 – base – T network interface and an Ethernet cable to connect to the network. More information will be available for students during orientation. All students have free New England Institute of Art (NEiA) email accounts and Internet access through the College network. Students are required to check their NEiA email accounts as this is one of the primary forms of communication to students.
 
Where can I do laundry?
Each of the three villages, East, West and South, has a laundry room for students to use with washers, dryers and a folding table.
