The photography outreach club is organized around the idea of empowering people by teaching them photography skills.  This semester, under the direction of Professor Molly Lamb, the group will be offering a photography class to students at a small Charter school without facilities and to the Boys and Girls club.  Outreach is an important endeavor in the department as it allows students to act as teachers; it extends into the community to empower individuals and hopefully provides all participants with a positive experience of learning and growing.  Students participating in this club must be committed to the cause and show dedication and responsibility by meeting the initial commitment to participate.
