Chris Hill
Chris Hill

1998 Audio Production Graduate

Shipping Manager, Pro Audio Design

Chris Hill graduated from The New England Institute of Art in 1998 and he has been working as the Shipping Manager at Pro Audio Design for a few years now. He is in charge of shipping, receiving and inventory control. His responsibilities are extensive considering the fact that he can handle a single piece of equipment that can be worth upwards of a half a million dollars. Some classic SSL consoles can be 15 feet long by 5 feet wide and shipping such large and expensive equipment can be quite tricky. Chris is a musician and one of the things he enjoys most about his job is the fact that he works with many other people who share his same interests. In fact, most of the employees at Pro Audio Design are musicians. "Working at Pro Audio Design is great because it allows me to stay involved in the music business." Chris chose The New England Institute of Art because of his passion for music and recording. He developed his interest in the equipment while a student and he speaks highly of his experiences at The New England Institute of Art. Chris was most impressed with the knowledgeable instructors in the Audio Production program. "I learned a lot from people like Spike Foley. His classes were interesting and informative." Chris stresses the importance of paying attention in class and learning all that you can from the instructors.
