College Sponsored Housing Opportunities

All housing options have professional staff (Residence Life Coordinators or Resident Directors) and resident assistants living in the buildings. Staffs are present to act as a resource for students, provide educational and social programming, enforce policy, and to act as a liaison between the students and the host site. Each room will be furnished with a minimum of a bed, desk, desk chair, closet space and dresser for each student. Beds are twin, standard size. The Nora and Dexter Park Apartments also include a dining area table and chairs. Although the different housing sites may have their own unique rules, students are held accountable to the housing rules and regulations outlined in the housing agreement as well as the Student Conduct Code. There are mandatory building meetings at the beginning of each semester to outline unique rules for specific housing locations that may be set by each host site.

The New England Institute of Art will be housing NEW students in West Village (buildings I, II, & IV) at Pine Manor College. PMC's picturesque campus is situated on 60 wooded acres in the Chestnut Hill section of Brookline, Massachusetts, five miles from downtown Boston. The college is accessible by both automobile and public transportation. The campus is located just off Route 9 and is a ten-minute walk to the Chestnut Hill station on the Green Line of the "T", Boston's trolley and subway system. The college provides regular shuttle service to the train station when classes are in session. PMC has double and single dorm style bedrooms, laundry facilities, lounge/study areas, and communal bathrooms/showers. All rooms are equipped with an internet connection, phone line and basic-cable hookup. Each residence hall room is equipped with one phone jack. To activate phone service, students may call the local provider, Verizon, to arrange for services at their own expense. Students living in double rooms may share a phone. Communal areas such as floor lounges and bathrooms are cleaned by the cleaning staff. The campus features a campus student union, library, computer labs, cafeteria, and athletic facilities. Each student has a mailbox located on the first floor of the Rosemary Ashby Campus Center. Students at PMC may also bring a car to campus for an additional cost of $125.00 for the year. Parking passes are purchased through campus security at PMC.

Select from the traditional 19 all-you-care to eat meals per week or the 14 all-you-care to eat meals per week with $90 in Gator Bucks. Gator Bucks can be used to treat a friend or family to a meal or used at the PM LATE NIGHT CAFE...*PLEASE NOTE: Gator Bucks or un-used meals do not carry over from winter to fall semester.
