College can be a  confusing time  and sometimes it is helpful to have an objective person  to help  sort out thoughts and feelings. Our counselors are dedictated to seeing  each student  as a whole person and providing services or  links to  services that will make college life more fulfilling.

Why Talk to a Counselor?
Most people who come to counseling have everyday problems such as loneliness, anxiety, depression, relationship problems, family issues, sexuality issues and just learning to adapt to big changes such as attending college. A Student may have some confusion about what he/she wants out of life. Setting goals with someone can be helpful.

Counseling can also be helpful in situations such as having trouble getting along with a roommate or a classmate. Brainstorming ideas with someone about how to change a situation or learn to tolerate it can make life easier.

Counseling services are offered at no additional cost to students and appointments are generally between 9am-5pm, Monday through Friday. The New England Institute of Art Counseling Center offers short term counseling and maintains a current referral bank to address longer term or specialty issues. For more information email or call 1-800-903-4425.
