The Certificate of Completion in Digital Photography is designed to provide the fundamentals of digital photography. You will study and employ the techniques of camera functions, elements of composition, digital imaging/manipulation using Adobe Photoshop, photo history, be introduced to basic digital output processes and finally develop a portfolio of images.
A Digital Camera, with manual aperture and shutter speed capability, is REQUIRED. Writable CD/DVDs, an external hard drive, and Adobe Photoshop CS2 are suggested.
Admissions Requirements
Participants in the Digital Photography are required to have a fundamental working knowledge of software applications on a Macintosh or Windows platform and have worked in a professional capacity for at least two years. Direct industry experience is not required.
All work is graded Pass or Fail.
