Rachelle Dermer, Ph.D.

Rachelle is a digital photographer and filmmaker and runs her own studio and production company, Dermer studio and postHysteria Productions. Her photography and video work have been exhibited in numerous solo and group exhibitions. She received the Kate and Hall Peterson fund for Doctoral Studies in the History of Photography Grant. She has published numerous articles including an article in the Autumn, 1999 issue of the journal, History of Photography on the theme, "Medicine and Photography," for which she also served as invited guest-editor. Rachelle designed two digital media programs for local high schools and has taught at Boston University, Emerson College, The Art Institute Boston, and Massachusetts College of Art.
