Susan Elaine Dodge

Susan Elaine Dodge, an illustrator and graphic designer, has been a professional in the Boston area for over eighteen years. Growing up in rural Pennsylvania, Susan was fascinated by fairy tales and historical fiction, and would entertain her sisters with games and stories involving scripts, maps, characters and illustrations. Later, after studying art at Ohio University and Ringling School of Art, she moved to New England and combined working in advertising agencies and design firms with freelance illustration. Her work ranges from children's books, text books, travel posters and editorial illustration to corporate identity, logos, publication design and direct mail. Her latest work is an educational series of book and poster illustrations exploring the synthesis of North American Native mythologies and the sciences of physics, chemistry and astronomy.
