Antonia Jiménez is currently the Director of Administrative Operations for Harvard Pilgrim Health Care. Ms. Jiménez served as Special Assistant to Governors Weld and Cellucci where she focused on fostering the development and growth of minority and women owned businesses. Prior to that she served as the Chief Financial Officer for the Board of Higher Education, Executive Office of Education, and the Office of the State Comptroller.
In January of 1999, Ms. Jiménez founded the Massachusetts Education Initiative for Latino Students and currently serves as the organization's chairperson. This grassroots organization focuses on developing local coalitions which work on improving the quality of education for Massachusetts Latino students.
She is currently a fellow with the National Hispanic Leadership Institute (NHLI). Ms. Jiménez has a Bachelor of Science from Emmanuel College. and has attended executive programs at both MIT and Harvard. She has participated on a variety of boards including Early Education for All, the WBGH Community Advisory Board, and the Massachusetts Development Finance Agency.
