New Digital Video Program for Professionals Launched Discount Available for All Brookline Residents
- (September 16, 2004)
The New England Institute of Art today announced the launch of a certificate program in Digital Video Production.
Geared toward working adults, classes are held once a week, taught by working professionals, in the evening, from 7 to 10 P.M. at the College located in Brookline Village.
This program joins the three existing certificate programs in Digital Graphic Design, Web Site Design and Digital Audio Production.
"We are very excited about launching this new venture," says Debra Leahy, Department Chair. "Boston has become a hotbed of independent film and video production. We
recognize the need for those professionals to keep their skills current. In addition, more video is being incorporated into daily business practices."
Students can earn a certificate of completion in just 33 weeks. Classes are held in a combination of digital video labs and production studios. "Students learn on Final Cut Pro - the industry standard," says Leahy.
Classes begin October 13. Registration is now open. Call 1-800-903-4425 for more information. All Brookline residents receive a 10 percent discount.
