The New England Institute of Art is hosting the Boston stopover of Contemporary Chinese Design: an exploration of fine and applied arts, in its Brookline Village Gallery on the Plaza from November 10 - December 14.

The North American tour of this dynamic visual exploration of contemporary Chinese design showcases professional samples of four of China's premier designers and their graphic design, interior design, architecture, industrial design and painting.

"We are proud to bring this diverse array of creative talent to Boston," says Stacy Sweeney, The New England Institute of Art President. "The show dovetails nicely with the launch of The New England Institute of Art bachelor's degree program in Interior Design and presents an opportunity for not only our students, but for design professionals and art enthusiasts to experience the works of our Chinese counterparts."

The show, which premiered at The Art Institute of Pittsburgh, has shown at The Art Institutes in Washington, D.C. and Charlotte, North Carolina and will make its way across North America over the next year, stopping at another 17 Art Institutes in the U.S. and Canada.
