Rosanne Warren has received numerous prizes for her poetry, including the National Discovery Award in poetry, the Lila Wallace-Reader's Digest Writer's Award for Poetry, the Lamont Prize from the academy of American Poets for her book Stained Glass, the Witter Bynner Prize for Poetry of the American Acadmey of Arts and Letters and the May Sarton Award from the New England Poetry Club. She was elected to the American Academy of Arts and Sciences in 1997 and has received grants from the Guggenheim Foundation, the Ingram Merrill Foundation and the American Council of Learned Societies.
