MM240 - Digital Video
Instructor: Sean Fitzroy

Goal: This class introduces students to the tools and concepts used in "desktop" digital video production and non-linear editing. Students shoot video using Mini-DV camcorders, edit in Apple's Final Cut Pro, and composite graphics and effects an Adobe After Effects. In addition to storyboarding and pre-visulization skills, students learn how to effectively communicate using the language of moving images.

Assignment: The video is a student's final project, which demonstrates how to effectively blend synthetic elements with live action footage to create an abstract, yet compelling piece.
