MM245 - Image Design for Multimedia 2
Instructor: Michael Goldberg

Goal: This class emphasizes using multiple integrated design programs to achieve a single design goal as well as the importance of remaining flexible and consistent to solve multiple project challenges. Graphic Design for Multimedia is intended to introduce the students to advanced graphic design and animation techniques using Photoshop, Illustrator, ImageReady, and Flash for both print and multimedia. Special attention will be paid to managing a project and reusing the design direction for print, web, and multimedia output. Emphasis will be placed on successful communication for strong form and design. Course work is set up to improve student's software and design skills and increase visual problem solving flexibility.

Assignment: Create engaging design piece that stimulates interest for upcoming web environment. Initial design project will lead the design direction for the additional design elements that will make up the entire design "package".

This project will create the style guide that the other projects will follow, This piece will highlight type design, layout and communication in contemporary design.
