MM240 - Digital Compositing

Goal: In the Digital Compositing class students use Adobe After Effects to create video projects that combine motion graphics, animation, and visual effects. Projects include creating a broadcast graphics package for a television program, designing and animating a DVD menu, and visualizing a technical process using animation. Projects combine real-world and synthetic elements using a variety of compositing techniques.

Assignment: Design and animate an interface for a DVD which conveys the look and feel of the original movie or television show while focusing on usability and navigation.
