MM350 - Producing Interactive Media 2
Instructor: Anne DeFelice

Goal: This course focuses on expanding and improving on multimedia production and programming skills, using Lingo, the programming language included with Macromedia Director. Topics covered in the course include the assessment of a client’s needs, brainstorming the project’s style and metaphor, flowcharting and storyboarding the information architecture and screens, prototyping, asset development, testing, and debugging. Outcomes will include interactive applications such as quizzes, games, and instructional applications.

Assignment: Create a multiple-choice quiz using the questions and answers that are provided in the file “quiztext.txt.” Each question has 4 possible answers, and only one right answer. Keep track of the right and wrong
answers. Create a user interface for the quiz—decide how the user moves forward from one question to another, and how to display results. At the end of the quiz, a screen appears which gives feedback to the user (How may question they got correct and which questions they got right and wrong, as well as a text message, which varies depending on how many questions they got right). Also, at the end of the quiz give users the opportunity to play the quiz again and get a new score.
