BookStore @ The New England Institute of Art

The Bookstore serves our students, faculty, and staff with a wide range of merchandise that has been carefully selected to encourage creativity. We are your source for books, design and school supplies, media, clothing and gifts. We have a great selection of logo gear to show your college pride, and lots of cool gift items including movies, music, and toys.

Supply Kits
We distribute the supply kits to incoming freshmen each semester start. Each program's department designs a kit based on the course needs of a student's first semester at The New England Institute of Art. These kits are purchased with a bookstore credit account that is set up prior to the start of the semester. Each student is also given a balance in credit to purchase their non-program books for that semester. (Transfer students may be waived from requiring a kit but can choose to have an account set up for their books and supplies).

Textbooks
The Bookstore stocks every required textbook for all courses running, both degree and certificate. Because of space, we are unable to carry recommended titles. The Library maintains a reserve collection of all required titles, as well as any recommended title.

Supplies
We carry supplies for each class, as requested by our instructors. This includes items such as blank CD-Rs, templates, drawing pads, composition notebooks, headphones, copy cards, and much more. We do not carry computers, computer cables, or software.

Student Accounts
Students with government and/or alternative loans may have funds available for books and supplies each semester which can be added to their bookstore account. This enables the student to make purchases throughout the semester without incurring out-of-pocket expenses. The balance of this account rolls over each semester. Students are not able to withdraw from this account (any amount remaining is refunded upon graduation or withdrawal). In addition, we will work with a student's family members, the MRC, the VA, and other organizations to arrange funds for students each semester.

Whether you are looking for inspiration for a project, an unusual gift, or simply a folder for your paper, we can help!
