You will also hear Nora’s House apartments referred to as “Comm Ave.” There are studio apartments which house 2 people and 3-bedroom apartments for 6 people. The apartments have a kitchenette, private bath, A/C, internet and cable TV. Students need to provide their own cooking utensils. Laundry facilities are located in the basement of the building – coin operated ($3 wash, $3 dry). Three bedroom apartments have an additional lavatory and a living room. Students are responsible for their own phone connection. Students are also responsible for the cleaning of their individual apartments, including bathrooms. Nora’s House has a workout room with treadmills and universal machines with access 24-hours per day. There is no college sponsored parking available at Nora House apartments. Mailboxes are shared (1 per apartment) and located on the first floor. 24-hour security.
Nora’s House residents receive a “Star Market Card” grocery card meal plan. Students receive $120 every two weeks in Grocery Cards to shop at the Star Market just across the street from Nora’s House.
Campus is approximately 2 miles from Nora’s House apartments. Students may walk the 30 minutes to campus or take the 66 Bus. The MBTA Green Line/B-train is located right outside of Nora’s House and the school is located on the Green Line/D-train Brookline Village stop.

All housing options have professional staff (Residence Life Coordinators and/or Resident Directors) and Resident Assistants living in the buildings. Staff members are present to act as a resource for students, provide educational and social programming, enforce policy, and to act as a liaison between the students and the host site. Each room will be furnished with a minimum of a bed, desk, desk chair, and storage space for each student. The Nora’s House Apartments also include a dining area table and chairs. Although the different housing sites may have their own unique rules, students are held accountable to the Housing Rules and Regulations outlined in the Housing License Agreement as well as the Student Conduct Code. There are mandatory building meetings at the beginning of each semester to outline unique rules for specific housing locations that may be set by each host site.
