Housing Checklist

Here are a few pointers on how to make the most of your residence hall experience, what to be sure to bring and what you should leave behind.

Things to Remember
  • Contact your roommate/s before you arrive and talk about what each of you may be bringing with you, such as a TV, radio, refrigerator

  • Your roommates may come from different ethnic backgrounds or family environments, so you may have some adjustment issues. Keep an open mind and talk problems out as honestly as possible. If you are unsure how to address an issue, talk to your Resident Assistant or Housing staff member.
