Online Databases
There are a variety of online resources available to you as a student of California Design College. To access these resources you need to use a computer on campus.

Oxford Reference
There are 100+ books in the Core Collection with an expanding range of key titles from the acclaimed "Oxford Companions Series," plus the "Oxford Dictionary of Quotations." The front page allows you to either make a quick search or search by topic areas.

ProQuest E-Library
The E-Library system contains more than 1500 full-text magazines, newspapers, books, and transcripts, plus thousands of maps, pictures, weblinks, and audio/video files. The database is easily searchable with either a Boolean search or a natural language search. Results are displayed with icons depicting if they are photographs, literature, pictures, etc.

Wilson Omnifile: Full text select
Multidisciplinary, 100% full-text database providing full text articles, with their accompanying indexing and abstracts, from the following Wilson periodical databases: Art Full Text, Applied Science & Technology Full Text, Biological and Agricultural Index, Education Full Text, General Science Full Text, Humanities Full Text, Index to Legal Periodicals & Books, Library Literature & Information Science Full Text, Readers' Guide Full Text, Social Sciences Full Text, Wilson Business Full Text. Searches can be done in keyword or Boolean format. You can search for full-text journals and Peer reviewed journals.

Groves Dictionary of Art
Groves allows you to search for biographies of different artist, art and architecture terms, art periods, and images. Searches are simple using keyword or Boolean searching.

You can view fact sheets, overviews of companies, people, products, industry, competitors, news, financials, SEC filings, and a profile of the companies.
