The EDMC Education Foundation is a non-profit 501 c (3) corporation that was formed in 2002 to raise scholarship funds to help enrolled and prospective students of schools directly or indirectly owned and operated by Education Management LLC realize their educational and career goals. Donations to the EDMC Education Foundation are tax-deductible and are allocated to students based on financial need or merit on an annual basis. All funds donated on behalf of a particular school are returned to that school in the form of scholarships for its students.

The Art Institute of Charleston offers the EDMC Education Foundation Bank of America Scholarship. Students enrolled in an associate's or bachelor's degree-level Culinary program at the school and who have a GPA of 2.5 or above are eligible to apply.
