Student Services
The Art Institute of Charleston provides a wide variety of support services to students.
Every student is encouraged to take advantage of these support services.
Advising Services
Professional services are available to advise students in personal and other non-academic
areas to help students deal with concerns or problems so that they may maximize their school
experience.
Study Groups
Students are encouraged to participate in study groups for joint study and research. During
orientation and the first day of classes for each course, instructors will encourage students
to form study groups.
Tutoring Services
Students who are in need of tutorial assistance in any course may be required to participate
in computer-based, peer, or faculty-assisted tutorial programs, provided at no additional
charge.
Housing Services
The Art Institute of Charleston offers housing placement assistance to all enrolled students.
Apartment information and roommate referrals are available to students who choose to live in
independent housing. For more information on housing options, please contact the Student Affairs
Department.
Disability Services
Our Disability Services staff assists qualified students with disabilities in acquiring reasonable
and appropriate accommodations and in supporting their success at The Art Institute of Charleston.
