Graduate Employment Statistics
The Career Services Department at The Art Institute of Charlotte prides itself on helping students and graduates find appropriate jobs during all the stages of the education process. This includes helping students find part-time jobs while in school, internships later in the educational process, and industry positions upon graduation.
If graduating students have made the effort to attend events and participate in activities sponsored by the Career Services Department, they are already well on their way to a successful employment search.
Armed with a body of work in a portfolio format, CD ROM, demo reel, or Web site URL, students work closely with a Career Services Adviser to match their skills to the needs of hundreds of companies on the employer database. In addition, Advisers will review students’ resumes and help improve interviewing skills. As part of the graduation ritual, a portfolio review is held that will provide students with the opportunity to show work to many potential employers who attend the show.
The Art Institute of Charlotte does not guarantee employment or any particular level of compensation following graduation.
