Your Job Search begins your first day of school, not when you complete your degree. We will help you actively pursue a successful career –starting today!

The Career Services Department helps lay the foundation for your career search. We are a staff of dedicated advisors who work with you throughout your educational programs. We also work with employers to market our graduates and their capabilities. We generate job leads, match graduate skills with employer needs, and help graduates learn the lifelong skill of conducting a successful job search.

What Our Career Services Department Offers*

• Instruction in critical job search skills, resume writing, interviewing and networking.
• Individual job search assistance for students seeking part-time employment while they complete their program of study.
• Individual job search assistance for full-time employment in the student's field of interest.
• Participation in quarterly Portfolio Reviews where employers can meet new graduates and view their work.
• Participation in career days and job fairs that give students and employers an opportunity to interact.
• Arrangements for employers to visit The Art Institute and meet graduating students.
• Resources for advanced career development.
• Screening of graduates for entry-level and advanced employment.
