EDMC Foundation
Many students who apply to The Art Institutes ask about the availability of scholarship
assistance. In 2000, a number of interested Art Institute leaders began discussions on how
funding could be raised to increase scholarship support available to EDMC students.
The solution was The Art Institutes Scholarship Fund of the EDMC Education Foundation,
whose primary purpose is to increase scholarship opportunities for students by raising money
from a variety of sources – individuals, businesses, educational foundations, community
supporters, employees, friends of education and individuals who wish to establish commemorative
scholarships.
A unique aspect of the foundation is that each school is responsible for raising its own
scholarship funds, and the money goes directly back to that school for its own students. This
means The Art Institute of Charlotte will benefit directly from your support and contribution.
You hold the key to the success of the foundation!
EDMC Education Foundation is a non-private tax-exempt foundation under Section 501(c) (3)
of the Internal Revenue Code, and donations made to The Art Institutes Scholarship Fund/EDMC
