Fashion Students from The Illinois Institute of Art – Chicago
Show On and Off Runway at Fashion Focus 2008

Chicago, Ill. – From the runway to city-wide displays, fashion design and fashion marketing & management students from The Illinois Institute of Art – Chicago will spotlight their best work at Fashion Focus 2008.

Students from The Illinois Institute of Art – Chicago will showcase their top designs at Dress Code, an all-student fashion show that will feature work from the city’s four major design schools. The show will be held at the Chase Promenade North at Millenium Park on Friday, October 3, at 7:30 p.m.

Fashion  design students’ work will also be on display throughout Fashion Focus 2008 at The Palmer House Hilton, 17 E. Monros St., and The Holiday Inn Mart Plaza, 350 N. Orleans St. Their concept – “Check in… check it out!” – is geared to promote Chicago fashion to visitors from around the United States and the world.

And hats off to accessory design faculty at The Illinois Institute of Art – Chicago. If you ever wanted to know how your fashionable and functional hats are made, come to ‘The Happy Hatter’ demo at Water Tower Place, 835 N. Michigan Ave., will help visitors develop a greater appreciation for the hat you throw on before leaving the house. The demo is Friday, October 3, from 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
