Graduate Employment
Once students have completed their respective program
of study, it is time to search for full-time, entry-level
industry positions. If students have taken advantage of
industry speakers and events sponsored by Career Services,
joined industry and trade groups, and attended professional
organization meetings held on campus, they have already
started the networking process. Our comprehensive database
of companies covers a wide-range of employers. In addition,
we have five highly trained and dedicated Career Services
Advisors who work in partnership with each graduate to
secure full-time positions in the field.
Each quarter as a requisite of graduation, Career Services
hosts a Graduate Portfolio Show where industry professionals
are invited to view the work of our talented graduates.
This is the first step in assisting our graduates with
their job search. Our dedicated advisors aid in the entire
job search process, from resume preparation and interview
techniques, to uncovering job opportunities and coordinating
interviews when appropriate. We are truly committed to
your success; however, graduates must be equally dedicated
to their job search. Finding a full-time job is a
full-time job.
If you recently graduated and need to update your employment
information with us, please fill out our Employment Confirmation Form so we can keep your graduate
file current.
The college cannot guarantee employment or any particular
level of compensation following graduation. Graduates who
confine employment considerations to the Chicago metropolitan
area may limit employment opportunities available to them.
