Online Housing Application
Below are links to two important aspects of your College housing life, packing and parental support. Please take the time to read through these items to understand further our Housing program.
Packing for College
Letter to Parents or Guardians
Students are encouraged to call roommates in advance to coordinate sharing of the space, small appliances and electronics. Students who have a specific person they would like as a roommate should indicate that on the Housing Application – please note that the request needs to be mutual.
See more about AUTOMATIC LOFTS — all interested Ai students must be assigned through the College-Sponsored Housing Office. Contact Ms. Rand at 312-777-8622 if you have additional questions.
INDEPENDENT HOUSING
The Housing office maintains a limited listing of apartments within commuting distance. Independent apartments are not inspected or approved by The Illinois Institute of Art — Chicago. All arrangements are made between the student and the landlord.
