International Advising

The International Student Advisor provides the following services:

• Personalized immigration advising to assist students one-on-one with issues related to compliance with U.S. immigration laws
• New student orientation programs to assist students in adjusting to life in the United States
• Social programming
• Counseling with emphasis on cultural diversity and sensitivity
• Academic advising designed with international student issues in mind

The International Student Advisor is always available in the Student Affairs office on a walk in basis or by appointment at (800) 351-3450, extension 8784. It is our mission to provide exceptional service so that international students can maintain a good relationship with the U.S. Customs and Immigration Service and are therefore eligible to remain in the United States to complete their studies.
